I latched on to Diana Nyad's story a few days ago. The 62-year old athlete who attempted to swim from the marina in Havana, Cuba to Key West, Florida, a course that tracks 106 miles. This area is home to abundant marine life, including friendly dolphins and not so friendly sharks as well as menacing jelly fish that appear from below undetected.
